Thomas Rigg
Goalkeeper (1946-1948)
Tommy Rigg was Watford’s first post-Second World War Football League goalkeeper and spent three seasons at Vicarage Road before declining renewed terms for a fourth, at which point he was released and went back to the north-east. After two years as a non-League player, however, he resumed his Division 3 (South) career and enjoyed a five-year run in Gillingham’s first team.
