Peter Martin Walker
Forward (1954-1962)
Associated with his local Football League club from the age of 16, Peter Walker played in both Egypt and Malta with Bill Shipwright while in the RAF on National Service (during which he played cricket with F.S.Trueman), on completion of which he signed professional forms. A versatile forward capable of moments of great skill, he later became a prolific non-League goalscorer and went into business as a garage proprietor.
