Micah Anthony Hyde
Midfielder (1997-2004)
Not all that many players have given Watford seven years of regular first-team action, but Micah Hyde did so as a busy, tenacious and skilful midfielder. His first three campaigns at Vicarage Road were the most eventful, two successive promotions being immediately followed by a hard and unsuccessful struggle for Premier League survival. As a young boy in London’s East End, he’d played for Ridgeway Rovers with two other future professionals, Chris Day and David Beckham.
