Joshua Christian Kojo King
Forward (2021-2022)
Born in Norway to a Gambian father and Norwegian mother, Joshua King won full caps for Norway before leaving Manchester United with whom he spent four years without making a League appearance. Signed by Bournemouth the summer after they were promoted alongside Watford to the Premier League he had a successful goalscoring record against the Hornets. His most successful afternoon in a Watford shirt was at Goodison Park where he scored an incongruous hat-trick against a side who had signed him with what he described as unfulfilled promises the previous January. Otherwise his Watford career was unspectacular; as the senior member of a young forward line he was only occasionally effective in the central striking role that he claimed was his forte. The club exercised a release clause on their relgation in 2022.
