Charles Morgan Parkinson Woods
Winger (1970-1972)
His two seasons as a left-winger at Vicarage Road were undistinguished, the club’s fortunes being at a low ebb. Once his playing career was over, Charlie Woods returned to Ipswich Town for a second spell of service which lasted for a quarter of a century during which held various positions up to and including assistant-manager. He was an accomplished golfer who represented Suffolk on many occasions.
