Brian Arthur Greenhalgh
Forward (1975)
Signed to produce goals to secure Third Division survival, Brian Greenhalgh suffered a striker’s nightmare of eleven barren games before scoring in the final fixture of the season. But Watford lost that game anyway, and went down. After a wandering Football League career he played alongside Vic Akers and Laurie Craker in Dartford’s Southern League Cup win in 1977, in which he scored in the first leg of the Final.
