Kerry Michael Dixon

Forward (1996)

Player

One of English football’s outstanding goalscorers of the 1980s, he came to Watford late in a career that brought him well over two hundred League goals after he’d been rejected by Tottenham Hotspur at the end of his apprenticeship. Fast in his heyday, and athletically built, Kerry Dixon enjoyed his best years with Chelsea and won eight Full international caps. He was one of several elderly strikers way past their best who were brought to Vicarage Road in the 1990s, and his brief spell was not a successful one.
